Uses

Lomtegovimab (BI 767551) is a human anti-SARS-COV-2 spike glycoprotein monoclonal antibody. Lomtegovimab binds and neutralizes SARS-CoV-2. Lomtegovimab shows antiviral efficacy. Lomtegovimab has the potential for the research of COVID-19[1][2].

in vivo

Lomtegovimab (40 mg/kg; i.p. or i.n.; once; three days before infection) protects hACE2-transduced mice from infection with SARS-CoV-2^[2].

Animal Model:	BALB/c mice (Ad_ACE2-mCherry)^[2]
Dosage:	40 mg/kg
Administration:	I.p. or I.n.; once; three days before infection
Result:	Led to a complete neutralization of infectious SARS-CoV-2 and slightly reduced amounts of viral RNA in the lungs of treated animals.
