Description

1,1,1-Trifluoroethyl-PEG4-azide is a crosslinker containing an azide group and a trifluoroethyl group. The azide group enables Click Chemistry. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The trifluoroethyl group is used to react with lysine and other primary amine groups in proteins, antibody and other molecules and surfaces.

Uses

111-Trifluoroethyl-PEG4-azide is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. 1,1,1-Trifluoroethyl-PEG4-azide is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
