Chemical Properties
Yellow flocculent crystals, soluble in organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, and DMSO, are derived from the dried fruiting bodies of Ganoderma lucidum (Leyss. exFr.) Karst., a Polyporaceae fungus.
Uses
Ganoderic acid C6 has aldose reductase inhibitory activity[1].
