REACTIVE BLUE 4 Usage And Synthesis
Chemical Properties
Dark blue powder. Solubility in water (20 ℃) for 80g / L, (50 ℃) for 90g / L. Strong sulfuric acid is reddish brown, diluted into blue; in nitric acid is orange, diluted no change. Aqueous solution is blue, add 1mol/L sodium hydroxide is still blue, then add insurance powder and warm to dark red, then add sodium perborate to red, no change after dilution. Chemical properties are more active, poor stability, alkaline hydrolysis resistance, not acid hydrolysis resistance.
Uses
Reactive Blue 4 (CAS# 13324-20-4) is an organic dye used in textiles. Reactive Blue 4 is water-soluble and a pollutant, and has been decolourized in water using microbial fuel cells. Dyes and metabolites.
Preparation
1-Amino-4-bromo-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracene-2-sulfonic acid and 2,4-Diaminobenzenesulfonic acid condensation, and ?2,4,6-Trichloro-1,3,5-triazine condensation and salting-out.
Properties and Applications
bright blue. Dark blue powder. The strong sulfuric acid for red brown, diluted into blue; In nitric acid to orange, no change after diluted. The dye water solution is blue, with 1 Moore sodium hydroxide solution is still blue, continue to join insurance powder and warm, turn dark red, plus a boric acid to red,. Mainly used for cotton, nylon, wool, silk and viscose yarn and fabric as the dyeing and printing, printing and dyeing directly. Structure and C.I.Reactive Blue 1 the same.
