Uses

Direct Yellow 86 (CAS# 50925-42-3) is an azo dye, suitable for use in dying bamboo viscose fiber. Direct Yellow 86 is considered a pollutant due to its persistence in wastewater.

Preparation

3-Aminonaphthalene-1,5-disulfonic acid diazo, and m-Toluidine coupling , its product (2 Moore) and 2,4,6-Trichloro-1,3,5-triazine condensation chlorine, and then with 2-Aminoethanol reaction.

Properties and Applications

red light yellow. Yellow powder, soluble in water. The high temperature stability is good. Apply to polyester/cotton/polyester sticky, blended fabric dyeing of a bath, especially applicable to a bath dyeing of step, also can used for silk dyeing and paper color.
