Isoquercitroside is a flavonoid compound that is within medicinal plants which displays various biological activity. This includes inhibition of adipocyte differentiation.
Definition
ChEBI: A quercetin O-glucoside in which a glucofuranosyl residue is attached at position 3 of quercetin via a beta-glycosidic linkage.
in vivo
In animals receiving Quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucofuranoside, eosinophil counts are lower in the BALF, blood and lung parenchyma. Neutrophil counts in blood and IL-5 levels in lung homogenate are lower only in Isoquercitrin-treated mice. No alterations in mononuclear cell numbers were observed[2].
