HO-PEG-NH2 Usage And Synthesis

Description

m-PEG48-amine is a aqueous soluble PEG linker containing an amino group.it can react with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde) etc. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.

Uses

Reactant for:• ;Preparation of pH responsive self-healing hydrogels formed by boronate-catechol complexation1• ;Preparation of core-clickable PEG-branch-azide bivalent-bottle-brush polymers by ROMP2• ;Preparation of drug-loaded bivalent-bottle-brush polymers by graft-through ROMP3

Uses

O-(2-Aminoethyl)polyethylene glycol (PEG-NH2) can be used:

  • As a capping ligand in the synthesis of water-dispersible and non-toxic nanocrystals (ZnS:Mn) for the development of environment friendly materials.
  • In the surface modification of magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) for a variety of biomedical applications.

Uses

O-(2-Aminoethyl)polyethylene glycol has been used to synthesize PEG-poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PEG-PLGA) conjugate for use in the synthesis of PLGA-based nanoparticles.
