Description

PEG25 contains repeating ethylene glycol subunits with two terminal hydroxyl groups. The hydroxyl groups can react to further derivatize the compound. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of the compound under aqueous environments. The water solubility properties of the PEG linker are enhanced with longer PEG chains.

Uses

HO-PEG24-OH is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
