Description

Furfuryl alcohol resin , also known as furfuryl alcohol resin, is a general term for resins with furan rings. It is mainly obtained by polycondensation of furfuryl alcohol or furfural under the action of strong acid. It is a thermosetting resin containing furan rings in the molecular chain. Uses

Furan alcohol resin is widely used in molding sand for cast steel, cast iron, ductile iron, advanced alloy and non-ferrous metal castings.

Preparation
