Uses

Leptin (22-56), human is the fragment of leptin, mediated via several isoforms of receptors (Ob-Rs).

Biological Activity

Leptin (22-56), human is a polypeptide fragment of leptin that acts through various isoforms of Ob-Rs.

in vitro

Leptin (22-56), human is the fragment of leptin, inhibits corticosterone production, but shows no effect on the proliferation of cultured adrenocortical cells. It may be responsible for the direct inhibitory effect on secretion and growth of leptin on cultured rat adrenocortical cells. It inhibits food intake, and may favour erythropoiesis.
