Description

Acid-PEG4-Sulfone-PEG4-acid contains two PEG-acid chains connected by a sulfone group. The sulfone group can be conjugated with thiol groups of proteins. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amines in the presence of activators such as EDC and HATU to form stable amide bonds. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases the water solubility of the compound in aqueous media.

Uses

Sulfone-Bis-PEG4-acid is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
