Description

Allyloxypolyethyleneglycol is a compound of propylene glycol and ethylene oxide. It is a nonionic surfactant and is soluble in water and many organic solvents. It also has reactive groups that can react with reactive hydrogen or double bonds.

Uses

Allyloxypolyethyleneglycol is used in modified organosilicon grafting reactions and as a dispersant in polymer materials. It is also an important raw material for polycarboxylic acid water reducing agents. It can also be used as chemical intermediates in other industries, such as papermaking and coatings.
