Description
L-leucine-5,5,5-d3 is a stable isotope labeled amino acid L-leucine, is used in the quantitative determination of proteins using mass spectrometry (MS) and as a tracer in metabolic research.
Uses
L-Leucine-d3 is used as tracers to study human apolipoprotein B metabolism.L-Leucine-d3 acts as a nutrient signal to stimulate protein synthesis. It has also activates the mammalian target of rapamycin kinase that regulates cell growth.
Uses
Used in the methodology of stable isotope tagging of epitopes (SITE) for identification of virus-induced peptides in vaccine development.
