Secretin Acetate Usage And Synthesis
Application
Injectable secretin acetate is an orphan drug designed to aid in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and pancreatic exocrine dysfunction, and can be used with imaging modalities such as CT, endoscopic ultrasound, and MR cholangiopancreatography. These changes include eliminating the need for a test dose of ChiRhoStim and removing contraindications from the package insert; both of these measures can shorten procedure time.
