Vitamin D3 is an important feed additive widely used in animal feed, primarily to prevent rickets and improve the conversion rate of calcium and phosphorus in bones, thereby promoting bone growth. Vitamin D3 oil, a feed additive, is a chemically synthesized vitamin D3 resin oil made from lanolin cholesterol as a starting material. This resin is dissolved in vegetable oil and formulated with appropriate amounts of antioxidants. This product can be used to prepare vitamin D3 microparticles for feed additives.
