Uses

Pamabrom is a diuretic used to reduce menstrual pains.

in vivo

Pamabrom (200-800 μg/paw; topical administration) produces a dose-dependent analgesic effect in rats, and its analgesic effect can be blocked by Naloxone (HY-17417A) (50 μg/paw), l-nitro-arginine methyl ester (10-100 μg/paw), 1H-(1,2,4)-oxadiazolo^[4,2-a]quinoxalin-1-one (10-100 μg/paw) and K+ channel blockers^[1].
