Application

The 2-cyano-4-fluoropyridine is a novel fluorine-containing medical intermediate and has wide application in the field of medicine. 

Preparation

(1)4-chloropyridine-2-formamide is prepared by taking 4-chloropyridine-2-methyl formate and ammonia water as raw materials through an ammonolysis reaction; (2) dehydrating 4-chloropyridine-2-formamide under the action of a dehydrating agent to obtain 2-cyano-4-chloropyridine; (3) 2-cyano-4-chloropyridine is subjected to halogen exchange reaction to obtain 2-cyano-4-fluoropyridine.
