Uses

Poly-DL-ornithine hydrobromide has been used to co at coverslips to seed dorsal root ganglion neurons from rats. It has also been used to co at dishes for mouse cortical neuron culture.

Biological Activity

Poly-DL-ornithine is a basic polypeptide th at provides an ideal condition for the growth of neurons in culture. It inhibits the growth of bacteria.
