Sodium antimonate Usage And Synthesis
Chemical Properties
White, granular powder. Slightly solu- ble in water and alcohol; insoluble in dilute alka- lies, mineral acids; soluble in tartaric acid. Non- combustible.
Uses
Opacifier in enamels for cast iron and glass, ingredient of acid-resisting sheet steel enamels, high-temperature oxidizing agent.

Hazard
Toxic by ingestion and inhalation. TLV: 0.5 mg(Sb)/m 3 .
