Uses

Tergitol has been used in a study to assess a method for detecting Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis in liquid whole eggs using loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP). It has also been used in a study to investigate the oxidation of nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEO) and octylphenol ethoxylates (OPEO) by oxidant systems generating hydroxide radicals.
