Description

Amino-PEG12-acid is an aqueous soluble PEG reagent. NH2 group is reactive with activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde) etc. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or HATU) to form a stable amide bond.

Uses

Amino-PEG12-Acid-Hydrochloride can be useful in enzymeless DNA base identification by chemical stepping in a nanopore.
