Propargyl-PEG5-NHS ester Usage And Synthesis

Description

Propargyl-PEG5-NHS ester has a propargyl group and an NHS ester group. The terminal NHS ester and is an amine reactive moeity which is useful for derivatizing peptides, antibodies, amine coated surfaces etc. The propargyl group can participate in Click Chemistry reactions with azide compounds, copper is needed for catalyzation. The PEG units can enhance the hydrophilicity of the molecule.

Uses

Propargyl-PEG5-NHS ester is a PEG/Alkyl/ether-based PROTAC linker can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs. Propargyl-PEG5-NHS ester is a cleavable ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs)[1]. Propargyl-PEG5-NHS ester is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
