Propargyl-PEG5-t-butyl ester Usage And Synthesis

Description

Propargyl-PEG5-t-butyl ester has one of the functional groups protected by t-butyl group. The protection can be removed under acidic conditions. The propargyl group forms triazole linkages with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules via copper catalyzed Click Chemistry. The PEG units help improving the water-solubility of the molecule in aqueous media.

Uses

Propargyl-PEG4-CH2CH2-Boc is a non-cleavable ADC linker that can be used to synthesize ADC inhibitors of Galectin-3. Propargyl-PEG4-CH2CH2-Boc is a PEG- and Alkyl/ether-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Propargyl-PEG4-CH2CH2-Boc is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
