HEMICELLULASE Usage And Synthesis
Chemical Properties
Can constitute the plant cell membrane polysaccharides (except cellulose and pectin substances) plus water decomposition of various enzymes. The main role for the locust bean gum and coca bean gum and other polysaccharides such as β-1, 4-glucan bond hydrolysis into p-dextrin. The hemicellulase produced by three kinds of Aspergillus niger, the optimum pH value of 3.0, 5.0 and 5.5; at 30 ℃ to maintain 24h activity is still 100% of the pH range were 3.5 ~ 10, 2.5 ~ 6, 4 ~ 7; at pH 5.6 under the maintenance of 15min activity is still 100% of the temperature were 50 ~ C:, 60 ℃, 70 ℃. Nearly white to light gray amorphous powder or light gray to dark brown liquid. As a commodity can contain food grade diluent, carrier, stabilizer and preservative. Soluble in water, a few insoluble in ethanol, chloroform and ether.
Uses
Hemicellulase from Aspergillus niger has been used in enzyme digestions.
General Description
This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency and waste prevention when used in cellulosic ethanol research.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Hemicellulase is a group of enzymes that catalyzes the breakdown of heteropolysaccharides. It includes glucanases that act on glucan. Similarly, xylanases and mannanases breakdown xylan and mannan respectively. Hemicellulase is prevalent among various bacteria, fungi and plants.
